1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You sign in using your mobile number and a one-time passcode. You are responsible for keeping access to your phone and account secure, and for activity that occurs under your account.

2. Orders

• Meatado is a marketplace that connects you with independent local shops. Products are prepared and sold by those shops.
• Prices are shown per kilogram or per pack and may change. The total shown at checkout includes any applicable delivery charge and tip you select.
• A minimum order value and delivery area may apply.
• Placing an order is an offer to purchase; the order is confirmed once accepted by the shop.

3. Pricing & payment

The current version supports Cash on Delivery. You agree to pay the total shown for your order upon delivery. Weights of fresh-cut items may vary slightly; final pricing reflects the product supplied.

4. Delivery

Estimated delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed. Please provide an accurate delivery address and be available to receive your order. If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address or unavailability, additional charges or cancellation may apply.

5. Cancellations & refunds

You may cancel an order before it is prepared or dispatched, where the app allows. Because meat and seafood are perishable, orders already prepared or out for delivery may not be cancellable. Quality concerns should be reported promptly via Support, and will be handled fairly on a case-by-case basis.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by providing false information, interfering with its operation, attempting unauthorised access, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

7. Product information

We and our partner shops aim to describe products accurately. If you have allergies or specific dietary requirements, please check with the shop before ordering.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meatado is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts at Kozhikode, Kerala shall have jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
